Giving Societies

The President’s Club

President’s Club members may choose to commit at ten-year or lifetime levels. The levels described below are for ten-year memberships, and matching gifts from employers may be fully applied to these commitments.

The President’s Club directly supports the education of Hillsdale College students, and involvement at any giving level helps Hillsdale maintain its total independence from taxpayer funds — even indirectly in the form of student grants and loans.

President’s Club members are among the first invited to national leadership seminars, Center for Constructive Alternatives seminars, educational cruises with Dr. Arnn and College staff, and special events, including the annual Constitution Day Celebration.

President’s Club members are recognized by way of a framed certificate from Dr. Arnn, are photographed for publication in The President’s Club News, are honored guests at the President’s Club Breakfast during Commencement Weekend, receive reserved seating at events including Commencement, are recognized at the Dow Leadership Center and the Kirby Center, and receive additional special invitations throughout the year in correlation with their membership levels.

The Legacy Society

Established in 2020, the Legacy Society of Hillsdale College recognizes those who generously designate the College as a beneficiary of their estate, and thereby ensure the future of Hillsdale’s noble mission.

As a gesture of appreciation, Legacy Society members are the first to receive invitations to events like national leadership seminars, Center for Constructive Alternatives seminars, educational cruises and tours with Dr. Arnn and College staff, and other special events, including those marking College milestones and the annual Constitution Day celebration in Washington, D.C.

Legacy Society members are also recognized by way of a framed certificate from Dr. Arnn, photographed for publication in The President’s Club News, honored as guests during the annual President’s Club and Legacy Society Breakfast during Commencement Weekend, offered reserved seating during Commencement and other events, and named at the Dow Conference Center, the Kirby Center, and the Roche Sports Complex.

Legacy Society members may stipulate the use of their gifts as unrestricted, designated, or named endowments, to ensure proper stewardship of their legacy as they intend.
